Greenbrier CEO on European tour
Greenbrier CEO & President, Lorie Tekorius, visited the company’s European production facilities last week. During her trip, she toured Greenbrier locations, including the company’s newest welding school in Caracal. In addition, she visited Caracal City Hall and met the mayor, Ion Doldurea. Greenbrier is proud of its operations in Europe and look forward to continuing to grow together.
“We want to build a work community at Wagony Swidnica and Greenbrier AstraRail that is stronger and more active. We are committed to continuing our operations in Poland, which began in 1998, and we are expanding our business in Romania with new investments. We want our legacy in Poland and the United States to demonstrate to the Romanian community that we are a responsible company that is participating in and actively supporting the European Union’s efforts to support the reduction of carbon emissions. As the only player on the Romanian locomotive and wagon production market, we want to expand the business appropriately to meet market growth for freight rail equipment that we expect in the years to come,” said Tekorius
